An historic renovation of a magnificent 1900's home located on Richmond Virginia’s famed Monument Avenue. Once owned by renowned glass maker Binswanger, we maintained the original stained-glass windows and restored the rich mahogany paneling and woodworking throughout. We offset the home’s dark wood architectural elements with bright and beautiful spaces, including a kitchen renovation incorporating a mix of white cabinetry with wood detailing and wood floors that marry the old with the new. We took the same approach honoring the home’s history and the new homeowner’s contemporary lifestyle by combining antique furnishings with brand new Bridget Beari bespoke furniture designs.
